【November 18】University of Hyogo, Institute for Policy Analysis and Social Innovation 2nd symposium “Sustainable Society and World of Sake - Path to a Carbon-free Society-”2023.10.25

University of Hyogo, Institute for Policy Analysis and Social Innovation will host the 2023 2nd symposium “Sustainable Society and World of Japanese Rice Wine - Path to a Carbon-free Society-”.

While hearing from producers about things most people don’t know about, such as the honest and reliable activities of rice wine producers and their relationships with local societies, we will think about the contributions of the modern rice wine industry with regards to sustainable societies and about how to appeal to the world.

This information can be used by those interested in SDGs and in sharing Japanese culture with the world. Since middle school and high school students can also participate, they can utilize this symposium as extracurricular learning.

- Panel discussion “Development of the Rice Wine Industry and Corporate Strategy, Regional Societies, and Regulatory Policies”

- Kazumasa Sakurai Managing Director, Representative Managing Officer, and Production Center Director at Hakutsuru Sake
