At Himeji SDGs EXPO 2022, hosted on August 19 and 20 (Saturday and Sunday) at Arcrea Himeji as an event to celebrate 100 years since the establishment of the Himeji Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Industry-Academic Collaboration/Research Promotion Organization, University of Hyogo participated with an exhibit as a group that tackles SDGs.
The keynote address on the 19th was given by Vice President Sakashita. The panel discussion that followed was held by Vice President Sakashita and Minori Nagayama, a fourth-year student in the School of Human Science and Environment. It was a rather lively and exciting two days.
This event was hosted by the Himeji Chamber of Commerce as an opportunity, at the 100-year anniversary of the chamber of commerce, to think about the next 100 years of development in the city of Himeji, which has been selected as a future-orientated city tackling SDGs, and the University of Hyogo participated in the symposium and in an exhibit booth.
The booth exhibit had the theme of “Education, Research, and Social Contribution Based on University of Hyogo’s Declaration Concerning SDGs”, which introduced the following six points to a large number of local visitors over two days.
