Cooperative participation in “Colorful Week Stargazing Party” hosted by Wakayama University

[Institute for Nature and Environment] 2023.05.30

Lecturer Shinya Narusawa of the Institute for Nature and Environment, University of Hyogo, gave a lecture on the subject of “Thinking about the Diversity and Sustainability of Society from the Search for Extra-terrestrial Intelligence” at a stargazing event hosted on Wednesday, May 24, by the Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) Promotions Headquarters of Wakayama University.

These activities are part of the initiatives of “The Potential of Nature, Environment, and Society Opened Through Partnerships”, touted by the SDGs Promotion Office of the School of Human Science and Environment.

Approximately 70 students participated in the stargazing party. After the lecture, the students asked questions and participated in debate.

The school will continue working with other institutions and will expand various initiatives.
